Stages of life

I know so many people say they love a certain stage of their child's life more than others...and I think for me every stage becomes my favorite. Currently, Elisa is talking up a storm and it is so cute. I actually think she speaks English like Salvadorans speak spanish. Which means she sings when she talks! It's so adorable. Even if she can't pronounce an entire word she wants to repeat, she definitely gets the inflection and it just makes us laugh. She definitely has a way of repeating and repeating every intonation with her voice rising at the end. It reminds me so much of how I spoke English after returning to the states from El Salvador. :)

She is becoming so independent. Still loves to read and her new favorite thing is to get her jacket on and say, "bye, bye?" Oh, how I am dreading this winter. Elisa loves to be outside especially now that she can walk. The only think I can't stand about my dear KC is the cold weather. Although I am anxious to re-introduce Christmas to Elisa now that she is older. Although she still won't understand everything, she brings such joy in her curosity.

Wil is doing great. His trip to Brazil was short and fast (thank goodness for me!). I hope he doesn't have to leave again for a while.
